Ingrid Steblea
Vice President of Qualitative Research
 As the Vice President
of Qualitative Research, Ingrid works closely with our clients who require
qualitative solutions for their research problems. She meets with these
clients to obtain an in-depth understanding of their backgrounds, research
needs, and objectives. After developing an appropriate, customized research
plan for each study, she oversees the implementation of the research from
start to finish. Ingrid personally analyzes the data for these projects
and prepares detailed reports presenting the findings, which include actionable
marketing recommendations.
Ingrid began her employment at MSR in January of 1996. She began as
an Executive Interviewer, then moved on to become a Data Collection Supervisor,
then a Research Assistant, specializing in highly customized industry
research, case studies, and SWOT analyses. She began working as a Senior
Research Analyst in 1999. She has worked extensively with academic institutions
and after-school activity providers to inform the development of high-quality,
sustainable OST programs for elementary and middle school students, particularly
those living in underprivileged areas. Ingrid has also conducted a significant
amount of research to guide the development of public service announcements
and educational materials promoting important health and social issues
to minority and multicultural populations.
At the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Ingrid was an Honors Scholar
in Anthropology before graduating with a B.A. in an individualized major,
Art and Human Expression, in 1995. In addition to her career at MSR, Ingrid
works as a writer and visual artist. Ingrid's writing, illustrations,
and photography have appeared in numerous literary and scientific publications.
Ingrid, her husband, Jeff, and their young son, Luke, live in Greenfield,
MA, where Luke keeps very busy trying to rid the town of a seemingly endless
scourge of fierce dragons.
